Ik stapte laatst (per ongeluk... _ in een PL Omaha Hi SnG en vond het eigenlijk wel een leuk spel en ben me er wat meer in gaan verdiepen. Ik zie nu ook in dat er eigenlijk best wel easy money is te krijgen, aangezien er altijd wel een paar zijn die (net als ik) denken een Texas hold'em te joinen, maar in een Omaha room eindigen... Van de overigen is er altijd wel een stel die niet snappen dat je voor de nuts moet gaan en niets minder. Met een beetje mazzel verdubbel je dus al vrij snel.

Mijn tactiek (in SnG's) is dan ook om vooral in het begin erg loose te spelen in de hoop te verdubbelen op iemand die het niet snapt. Als ik zie dat ik de nuts heb dan probeer ik zo snel mogelijk alles er in te knallen.

Ik vraag me echter 2 dingen af:

Ten eerste, heeft het zin om minder dan pot te betten of te raisen?

Ten tweede een situatie die ik nu bijna elk spel heb meegemaakt; er zijn spelers die postflop alles callen -en- betten. Het is onwaarschijnlijk dat ze het spel goed snappen, maar wat zijn nu de beste handen om tegen deze spelers te spelen? Waarschijnlijk spelen deze spelers namelijk gewoon op de sterke "texas"-handen (dus overpair, low 2 pair, etc). Als je dan meegaat met je draw en niet hit op de turn en dan afhaakt kan dit best al snel verliesgevend worden. Ik ben er nog niet helemaal achter hoe ik hier meer om moet gaan.
